The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus exceeds 1,200,000 globally, with the death toll rising to over 64,000, according to Johns Hopkins University.
Per data provided by the World Health Organisation (WHO), the number is lower, with confirmed cases standing at 1,051,635, and nearly 57,000 fatalities.
