Ministry of Public health spokesperson Wahid Majroh confirmed that 4 people have been wounded in the complex attack in PD16 of Kabul. 2 wounded were taken to Wazir Akbar Khan hospital, Majroh added.
A complex attack took place in PD16, Abdul Haq Square in Kabul city on Monday afternoon.
Interior Ministry spokesperson Najib Danish confirmed that two explosions took place near the Ministry of Public Works in PD16 Kabul. Gunshots were heard as well from the area.

Ministry of Public Works spokesperson Mahdi Rohani confirmed to Reporterly about the blast in PD16, Abdul Haq Square in Kabul city.
Mr Rohani said that two car bombs detonated at two gates of the ministry of public works and the clash is ongoing.
He added that one person has been killed.
Kabul Police spokesperson also informed that security forces have arrived at the scene.

Some sources and eyewitnesses have reported an explosion at Abdul Haq square in (PD16) Kabul city close to the Ministry of Public Works.
A spokesman for the Kabul Police Chief, Basir Mujahid, told Reporterly that a blast was heard and a team has been tasked to probe into it.

Afghan Air Force (AAF) received 4 more MD-530 fighter helicopters from the United States, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) said on Sunday. The MD-530 helicopters are to be used in combat missions.
MoD spokesperson Javid Ahmad Ghafoor told Pajhwok that the pilots for the aircraft had already been trained and other technical staff made available.
The Pentagon has said eight more fighter aircrafts would be handed over to Afghan security forces until March 2019.
According to the Pentagon, the Afghan security forces would receive the first AC-280 jets in January 2019 and seven more AC-280 fighter jets until March 2019.
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi arrived in Kabul on Monday morning and was received by Afghan officials and Pakistan Embassy officials.
He is set to meet Salahuddin Rabbani, Acting Foreign Minister to discuss the Afghan peace process among other issues.

CNN’s chief national security correspondent Jim Sciutto posted on social media that he reportedly got some active troops in Syria and Afghanistan to comment on Trump’s decision to pull out troops from the two countries.
Sciutto posted the reaction from active military to Syria & Afghanistan withdrawals. He claims that a current Special Ops officer recently in Syria remarked that “No logical way for our commanders in the fight to explain this to our partners. We just lost all our influence. We surrendered all our initiative”.
The officer added “He [Trump] has to listen to our 4stars. He hasn’t been to our combat zones to see how close to victory we are.”
