    Developing: Increase in Casualties of Kabul Complex Attack / 93 Injured, One Killed

    Officials of Ministry of Public Health have announced that as a result of today’s explosion in Kabul, 93 people were wounded and one other was killed.

    A spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health Wahidullah Mayar in a tweet confirmed the new figure.

    Meanwhile, Nasrat Rahimi spokesman of Interior Ministry announced that two of the assailants were gunned down by security forces.

    Developing: MoI: Second Assailant of Kabul Complex Attack Gunned Down

    Security forces reported that second assailant of complex attack of today’s morning in Kabul was killed.
    Earlier Interior Ministry’s spokesman Nasrat Rahimi confirmed killing of another assailant of today’s Kabul attack.


    Meantime, based on the latest report of spokesman of Ministry of Health, in today’s Kabul attack 65 people including 9 children were injured.

    CE Abdullah: Taliban Attack Showcases the Group’s Anti-Muslim & Human Methods

    In response to Taliban suicide attack occurred on Monday morning in Kabul city, Dr. Abdullah Chief Executive of the government called them as hireling, hypocrite and terrorist group, saying that the group talks about peace and on the other hand they attack on defenseless citizens and civilian centers.

    “Our citizens know that the attacks and plans of the hireling group for capturing the cities and strategic sites for the summer of the current year was defeated due to preemptive attacks by the armed forces of the country, and the enemies of Afghanistan have suffered heavy losses and casualties across Afghanistan. Therefore, the group want to disturb the tranquility of the citizens by launching suicide attacks,” said Dr. Abdullah.

     

    He added that, through the attacks they want to showcase their false presence with the most intolerable anti-Islamic and human methods.

    Chief Executive Office also praised the armed forces for their rapid response to the incident and also hospitals in treatment of the casualties.

    The response of Chief Executive office comes after the Taliban complex attack in today’s morning in Kabul left 65 injured including 9 children.

    31 Taliban Insurgents & 11 Security Forces Killed in Paktia

    Security officials reported that 31 Taliban insurgents including foreign fighters of the group were killed in Paktia province.

    Press office of Paktia police command said that in Taliban attack on Sunday night in Ahmad Abad district of the province, 31 Taliban insurgents including foreign fighters of the group were killed and 12 others were wounded.

    Eleven security forces were killed and 6 others were injured in the clash, according to the press office.

    Paktia police added that, the clashes started after Taliban insurgents attacked on Machlagho dam. Machalgho dam is located in Paktia province which is under construction and expected to be finished in three years.

    Security forces reported that one of the attackers of complex attack of today’s morning in Kabul was killed.
    In a tweet Interior Ministry’s spokesman Nusrat Rahimi confirmed killing of one of the assailants of today’s Kabul attack and said that efforts is going on to gun down the remaining attackers.

    Developing/ Pul-e-Mahmood Khan Area Electricity Interrupted Due to Kabul Explosion

    Breshna Company officials announced that today’s Kabul explosion has interrupted the electricity in area of Pul-e-Mahmood Khan.

    Breshna Company says that due to the powerful explosion in the area of Pul-e-Mahmood Khan the electricity of Makroyan-e-Kona colony, Shamshad Tv, Football Federation and Chambers of Commerce are interrupted.

    Meanwhile, photos released on social media show that acting head of Afghanistan Football Federation, Yusuf Kargar, was wounded in the car bomb in Kabul. Reports also indicate that the building of Football Federation has been damaged along with surrounding places in the explosion.

    In the meantime, in today’s morning complex attack occurred in Pul-e-Mahmood Khan area, so far, the number of causalities has reached to 65 injured.

    Taliban in a statement have claimed responsibility of the Kabul complex attack that has so far wounded 65 people.
    A spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health Wahidullah Mayar said in a tweet that 9 children are also among wounded of the attack.

    Meanwhile, Nasrat Rahimi spokesman of Interior Ministry announced that the vehicle-borne improvised explosive device explosion occurred near Gulbahar Tower and the insurgents have entered in a building.
    He confirmed that Afghan Police Special Forces have arrived at the blast scene.

    Developing: Explosion Occurs in PD2 Kabul

    Security forces reported the occurrence of an explosion in Kabul city.
    Nasrat Rahimi, spokesman of Interior Ministry said that, an explosion occurred around 8:55 Monday morning in Pol Mahmood Khan area of PD2 of Kabul city.


    He did not provide more details about the explosion.
