Afghan High Peace Council (HPC) announced that, in a meeting with Karimi Khalili the chairman of council, ambassador Vinay Kumar stressed the continued support of his country to Afghanistan at various level and fields.
HPC said in a statement on Tuesday that, in the meeting Indian ambassador considered the establishment of security and stability in Afghanistan in the interest of countries of the region and the world.
He expressed hope that through international cooperation, Afghanistan will overcome the challenges and achieve lasting stability.
Mr. Khalili also thanked India’s unwavering commitment to support an enduring, genuine and sustainable peace in Afghanistan as well as progress. Mr. Khalili expressed hope for continuation of assistance of India with Afghanistan in the field of reconstruction and other areas.
Afghanistan should change to a place for cooperation of all countries in the region and the world, Mr. Khalili added.
He also recognized the role of the countries of the region vital for success of the peace process and emphasized that Afghanistan expects all countries to play a role in the succeed of this process.
Security officials have reported the killing of a shadow district chief of Taliban for Bala Bolok district of Farah province.
Mullah Hesamuddin, the shadow district chief of Taliban for Bala Bolok district was killed in an air strike in Arif Village of Bala Bolok district, Ministry of Interior said in a statement on Tuesday.
MoI have not provided further details about the air strike. Meanwhile, the 207th Zafar Corps in a statement said that Mullah Esamuddin was killed in an air strike carried out in Arif Village of Bala Bolok district.
The statement further added that the airstrike also killed three fighters of Mullah Esamuddin and destroyed a vehicle.
Security officials have reported the killing and injury of nine people in a traffic incident in Herat province.
Speaking to Reporterly on Tuesday, Abdulahad Walizadah, the spokesman of Herat Police Command said that in the surrounding of Zawul district,a passenger bus and a truck collided.
3 people were killed and 6 others were wounded in the incident, Walizadah added. He stressed that, there is no exact detail whether women and children are among those killed and injured but based on primary reports the causalities are all men.
An explosion by IS-K in eastern Nangarhar province killed a 10-year-old girl in Nangarhar province.
According to local officials, the explosion was triggered by a roadside bomb. It also killed a woman.
The Governor’s Office of Nangarhar in a statement said the incident took place in Achin district on Monday.
The statement further added that IS-K terrorists had planted the improvised explosive device in Mamand Bagh area of Achin.

Local officials have announced that 15 Taliban insurgents including two key members were killed in Ghor province.
As a result of joint clearance operation in last 24 hours in in west and southwest of Firuzkoh the capital of Ghor and also Du Layna district of the province, 15 Taliban insurgents including 2 key members were killed, 13 insurgents injured and 6 others were arrested, 207th Zafar Corps press office said in a statement on Tuesday.
The statement further said that Ahangaran, Shotur Khan and Amrutak villages of Dawlatyar were cleared of the militants.

Afghan Ministry of Interior has reported the arrest of a suicide attack planner in Kabul city.
Nasrat Rahimi, spokesman of Ministry of Interior said on Tuesday that, Zamari originally a resident of Logar was arrested in PD7 of Kabul city on Monday.
Rahimi further added that, the arrested individual has been involved in planning major terrorist attacks of Taliban insurgents in Kabul.
According to Rahimi, some documents, hand grenades and weapons were also seized from the detained individual.
Suhail Shaheen, the spokesman for Taliban’s Qatar office has said that it is only the Afghan people who will determine the future government in the country, but he did not mention anything about negotiations with the Kabul government.
“The exact date will be announced today or tomorrow that when the seventh round [of talks] will start”, Shaheen said.
He added that it is clear that when the Americans announce their decision on the timeline of the withdrawal of their forces [from Afghanistan], it will open the way for intra-Afghan talks.
He conceded that this is so that “we can decide on the future government and intra-Afghan talks”.
