First Vice President Amrullah Saleh said that those who disrespect and are violent towards security personnel will pay the price, while talking about a man arrested for spreading “poisonous” propaganda.
In his Facebook post on Monday, Saleh said the head of a madrassa on outskirts of Kabul was summoned and expressed his remorse for his “bad and ugly” deed.
“The uniform of the security forces is the skin and cover of the system. It must be respected,” Saleh said.
He also said that posters with photos of 33 terrorists will be put up in Kabul later in the day.
Announcing that vehicles with more than two passengers on the front seat will be fined, he said they would be punished by being used for municipal and police patrols for a “few days.”
