10 Civilians Killed, Wounded in Taliban’s Shooting, IED Explosion in Khost, Paktika

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) says at least 10 civilians have been killed and wounded in Taliban’s shooting and an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast in the provinces of Khost and Paktika.

MoI in a press release said that the Taliban insurgents opened fire on civilians in Muhammad Hassan village of Khai Koot district of Paktika on Monday evening, killing three civilians including a child and wounding two others.

In the meantime, the press release said that in an IED explosion which was carried out by the Taliban in Sabri District of Khost, four civilians including a child were wounded.

The incident in Khost also took place on Monday evening.
