10 Taliban Insurgents Killed, Wounded by Security Forces in Kandahar

The Ministry of Defense (MoD) says at least ten Taliban insurgents have been killed and wounded in Kandahar province.

MoD in a press release said that the Taliban insurgents planned to launch attacks on security forces in parts of the Mia shin and Shorabak districts, that faced the resistance of the security forces.

According to the press release, at least four Taliban insurgents were killed and six others were wounded in the incident.

The security forces also detected and defused 20 IEDs of Taliban in Mianshin, Shahwalikot, Spin Boldak, and Maiwand districts of Kandahar province.
