The Ministry of Defense (MoD) says at least 30 Taliban insurgents have been killed in Kunduz, Maidan Wardak, Ghor, Helmand and Badakhshan provinces.

MoD in a press release said that at least 10 Taliban militants were killed in Sayed Abad District of Maidan Wardak, eight others were also killed in Kaltarash village of Dasht-e Archi District of Kunduz province.
According to the press release, 6 Taliban insurgents were killed in Cheghcheran District of Ghor, 2 Taliban killed in Jaram District of Badakhshan and four others in Shorabak District of Helmand province on Sunday night.
MoD added that a large number of arms and weapons have also been destroyed during the operations.
