Afghan security officials say at least 66 Taliban insurgents including the key members have been killed in Herat province.
Herat Police press office in a statement said that the armed oppositions of the government launched complex attacks on security outposts in Kashk-e Kohna District on Sunday night that faced security forces resistance.
According to the statement, 36 Taliban insurgents including the key members who were identified as Mullah Khan Aqa, Mullah Dalwood and Mullah Nazar Muhammad were killed and 30 others were wounded in the clashes.
