Afghan Gov’t Reacted to Pakistan’s Demand Over Extradition of IS-K Leader

The Afghan Foreign Ministry (MoF) in reaction to the demand of the Pakistani government on handing over the IS-K Leader said Afghanistan does not differentiate between the terrorists.

“Afghanistan does not differentiate between terrorists, treats all of them the same, and is firm in its commitment to fighting terrorism,” MoF said in a statement.

“Aslam Farooqi was involved in attacks that killed many Afghan civilians and he will be treated on the basis of Afghan law,” the statement added.

The Pakistani government on Thursday called on Afghanistan to hand over the captured leader of the Islamic State of Khorasan Province (ISKP).

“The Ambassador of Afghanistan to Pakistan was called to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and conveyed Pakistan’s views” regarding the arrest of Aslam Farooqi, the Ministry, ” said in a statement by Pakistan Foreign Ministery.
