Afghan local officials say the death toll from the suicide attack on a funeral ceremony in Nangarhar rises to 21.
The Nangarhar governor’s press office in a press release said that at least 21 people were killed and 55 others were wounded in a suicide attack on a funeral ceremony of a police local commander.
According to the press release, a provincial council member is also among the killed.
The Taliban group has rejected involvement in the incident.
