Afghan security officials have confirmed that at least five security forces have been killed and wounded in clashes with the Taliban insurgents in Jawzjan province.
The 209 Shahin Corps in a press release said that the Taliban insurgents attacked the outpost of security forces in Mingijak District at around 01:50am on Tuesday.
According to the press release, at least six Taliban militants were also killed and four others were wounded in the clashes.
The press release added that two security forces were killed and three others were wounded in the incident.
