US forces commander in Afghanistan, General Scott Miller has gone to Qatar to meet the Taliban delegation, a Taliban spokesman said.
“Top US military commander in Afghanistan Gen Scott Miller went to Doha to meet with the Taliban to discuss implementation of the US-Taliban agreement,” Suhail Shaheen, Taliban spokesman for Doha office confirmed in a tweet.

According to Shaheen, the meeting took place on Friday night and both sides discussed about the implementation of US-Taliban agreement.
He added that issues about attacks and clashes in none-combat areas and Taliban asked to stop.
The meeting comes as the National Security Council has released 200 Taliban prisoners based on a deal made between the US and Taliban group.
