The National Directorate of Security (NDS) has announced that Abdullah Orikzai known as Aslam Farooqi, a leader of the Islamic State Khorasan branch, was arrested with 19 other fighters in Afghanistan.
NDS in a press release said that “two IS-K commanders” are also among them.
According to NDS, Qari Zahid and Sayfullah known as Abu Talha Pakistani are also among the detainees.

The press release added that Aslam Farooqi has admitted his crimes and activities with the IS-K group.
