National Security Council (NSC) has reacted to the recent remarks made by the US Special Envoy for Afghanistan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad.
Khalilzad at a news briefing in Washington on Friday said that the assessment is that the attacks that took place against the hospital and the attack in Nangarhar on a funeral procession was the work of IS-K not the Taliban group.
The spokesman of NSC, Jawid Faisal in a press conference on Saturday said that there is no difference between the Taliban and IS-K that each are fighting against the Afghan people.
“The Afghanistan expectation from its allies is to not acquit the murderes of people.
