Afghan local officials say the commander of police forces for Moqor district of Badghis province has been killed in a Taliban’s attack.
The spokesman of Badghis governor, Najmuddin Borhani told Reporterly that the Taliban insurgents attacked the security outposts in Cheshme Dozdak area at around 02:00am on Sunday.
Borhani noted that at least two other soldiers were also killed in the attack.
He added that the clashes continued for three hours and six other local police were also wounded.
However, there is no information available about the casualties of the Taliban group.
