The Taliban group has announced that in continuation of releasing the government prisoners, at least 15 more prisoners were released in Jawzjan province.
The spokesman of Taliban, Zabihullah Mujahid said, “The prisoners were released on Wednesday in Jawzjan province.”
This comes as the Taliban group has also released prisoners in the provinces of Kandahar, Laghman, Kunduz, Herat, Badghis and Faryab.
The Afghan government has also released 1,000 Taliban prisoners so far.
