At least 53 prisoners of the Afghan government have been released by the Taliban group, the group’s spokesman said.
Suhail Shaheen, the spokesman for Taliban’s political office in Doha said, “Following the continuation of releasing the prisoners, 53 more prisoners have been released in Faryab and Badghis provinces.”
Previously, Qari Yousuf Ahmadi, a spokesman for the Taliban group also said that 17 government have been released in Bala Morghab District of Badghis province.
