US Chargé D’Affaires Condemns Kabul Hospital Attack

US Chargé d’Affaires Ross Wilson has condemned the armed militants attacks on a hospital in Kabul on Tuesday.

“I deplore this barbaric attack and condemn the evil terrorists who target those who cannot defend themselves and who are already suffering,” Mr. Wilson said.

He stressed that hospitals are the centers of compassion with dedicated Afghan and @MSF_Afghanistan staff caring for innocent civilians.

Armed men stormed a hospital in the western part of the Kabul at around 10:00am on Tuesday, where the medical charity Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres – MSF) runs a maternity clinic.

The 100-bed government-run facility is supported by Doctors Without Borders, which is also known by its French name Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) said at least 14 people have been killed and 15 others including women and children have wounded.
