US Embassy Condemns Injuring of Four DABS Employees in Kabul Blast

The US embassy in Afghanistan has condemned the wounding of four electricity workers in a blast in Kabul city.

Four employees of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) were injured by bomb on Monday while they were repairing a pylon in Kabul that was damaged by bomb.

“We condemn cowards and terrorists who try and harm the lives of innocent Afghans during Ramadan. These attacks only make life harder for the people,” the US embassy said.

“Our thoughts are with the brave workers injured in the blast and we hope for their speedy recovery,” the embassy added.

Two of the workers, both engineers, were seriously wounded as bomb placed in the area exploded.

The pylon in Chumtala area, which was last transmitting imported electricity, was bombed on Sunday night as a result of which three foundations were damaged.
