Kabul: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Saturday reported 16 new positive cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19) infection tested in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry said that no deaths or recoveries were reported on Saturday in the past 24 hours.
The total number of positive cases in Afghanistan now stands at 57,160 while the number of reported deaths is 2,521 and the total number of recoveries is 51,962.
The new cases were reported in Kabul, Kandahar, Baghlan, Helmand, and Zabul provinces.
