Pak Appoints New ISI Head

Lt General Asim Munir of Pakistan has been made the head of Pakistan’s infamous spy agency ISI, as confirmed by Pakistan’s Army media wing.

He replaces Lt Gen Naveed Mukhtar.

Munir was recently promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General. Prior to this he was serving as the head of the Military Intelligence (MI).

He was also conferred Hilal-i-Imtiaz in March 2018.

There have also been several other promotions in Pakistan recently.
