10 Policemen Killed in Faryab

Security officials have reported that around 10 police have been killed in a Taliban raid on a security outpost in Faryab province.

Head of the Faryab Provincial Council, Mohammad Tahir Rahmani, said that the Taliban attacked on a security outpost located on the Maimana-Herat Highway, in Aqsa village of Pashtun Kot district of Faryab Province, at around 3 am on Sunday, as a result of which, 10 policemen have been killed and four others have been injured.
