The Pew Research Centre, Washington conducted a survey in the month of September and the results of the survey showed that a significant portion of the people in America (49%) feel that the US has failed to achieve its goals in Afghanistan.
October 7th marks 17 years of US war on Afghanistan and even ten years ago, Americans had a far optimistic impression of the war than now.
Even now, according to the research, those American who claim to be Republican voters still feel positive about US efforts in the turmoil-ridden Afghanistan whilst Democrat loyalists believe the otherwise.
