The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Monday reported 203 new positive cases of coronavirus out of 1,575 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
The ministry also reported 7 deaths and 168 recoveries from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
The cumulative number of total cases is now 53,011 the number of total reported deaths is 2,237 and the total number of recoveries is 42,502.
The new cases were reported in Kabul, Herat, Balkh, Kandahar, Nangarhar, Takhar, Baghlan, Nimroz, Ghazni, Kapisa, Helmand, Sar-e-pol, Kunar and Ghor provinces.
