CE Abdullah: International Consensus Created for Peace in Afghanistan

Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah delivered a speech at the Council of Ministers meeting on Monday.

Dr Abdullah said that an international consensus has been created regarding peace in Afghanistan and that he hopes that relevant organizations will support the voter registration process which has already started in the country for the presidential elections.

With respect to cultural and historical sites in the country, Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah announced that the Afghan Ministry of Information and Culture should have a leading role in protection of historical sites and that other govt organizations should cooperate with the ministry in this regard.
