The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) says 190 cases of coronavirus have been registered in the country during the past 24 hours.
The deputy of MoPH, Wahidullah Majroh in a press conference said that around 498 suspected cases of coronavirus have been tested in the laboratories which 190 of them confirmed positive.
According to Majroh, the new cases include 41 cases in Paktia, 30 cases in Herat, 25 cases in Kandahar, 24 cases in Kabul, 17 cases in Balkh and 13 cases in Nangarhar province.
He added that 11 cases reported in Laghman, 9 in Farah, 6 in Sar-e-Pul, 5 in Kunar, 3 in Zabul, 2 in Paktika, and one case in each provinces of Khost, Uruzgan, Helmand and Nimroz.
He added that 52 patients have been recovered during the past 24 hours and 6 also died of the virus.
