Taliban Commander Killed in Laghman

6 militants including a local commander of the Taliban group were killed or wounded in U.S. drone strike in eastern Laghman province of Afghanistan as per military.

The 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan Military in the East in a statement said that the coalition forces carried out airstrikes using unmanned aerial vehicles, and targeted the militants in Qala Tak area of Alisheng district in Laghman.

The statement further added that the airstrikes killed Taliban’s local commander Allah Yar along with at least 3 militants while also wounding at least 3 other.

Taliban has not commented regarding the report so far.
