Security officials have reported a suicide attack on the commander of the ANA fourth Brigade in Maidan Wardak province. The blast happened in Chak district center.
The spokesman for Maidan Wardak Police Chief, Hikmatullah Durani, told the Khabarnama that the commander of the ANA fourth brigade, General Abdul Raziq Sapai, had been targeted in a suicide attack.
The commander was injured and two ANA soldiers were also killed, Durani added. The four people who were killed were the commander’s guards.
