Security officials reported that a key Taliban commander was killed and a shadow district governor of the group in Pashtun Zarghun district of Herat province was injured.
Herat police press office said that this key Taliban insurgent commander led by Safiullah “Chapat” was active in Pashtun Zarghun district of Herat province was killed by police forces in “Karawan” area of Pashtun Zarghun district.
