The Iran-Afghanistan Joint Economic Committee said two commercial and industrial exhibitions are planned to be held in Afghanistan in the near future.
“Shortly, we will hold two exhibitions in the fields of trade, commerce, and industry, and we will also hold a Joint Economic Committee meeting in Afghanistan,” said Reza Ardakanian, chairman of the committee and Iran’s Energy Minister.
The minister said the two countries are also planning to expand energy cooperation.

During his visit to Afghanistan in August 2019, he had spoken about a joint task force in the electricity sector along with wind energy projects.
