It has been announced by NATO-led Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan that a U.S. service member lost his life in Afghanistan.
The Resolute Support Mission in a statement said the U.S. service member lost his life earlier on Saturday.
The statement did not disclose further information, stating that “In accordance with U.S. Department of Defense policy, the name of the service member killed in action is being withheld until 24 hours after notification of next of kin is complete.
