A truck bombing attack on Kandahar National Directorate of Security was prevented, as per provincial officials.
Taliban insurgents had planned to use the truck loaded with explosives to attack on provincial headquarters of National Directorate of Security in PD9 of Kandahar city, Kandahar press office said in a statement on Saturday.

The truck was detected based on intelligence information of NDS forces, a vehicle was seized and a suspected individual was detained, the statement said.
