Provincial officials reported the killing of 11 Taliban insurgents including two shadow district governors in Ghazni province.
11 Taliban insurgents including two shadow district governors of Taliban for Jaghatu and Khwaja Umari were killed in an air operation and armed clashes in past 24 hours, Ghazni press office said in a statement on Saturday.
The statement further added that, Abdul Khaliq known as Abu Mohammad Taliban shadow district governor for Jaghatu and Mullah Monir shadow district governor for Khwaja Umari were killed as a result of airstrike in surrounding of Ghazni province.
As a result of air operation in surrounding of Andar and Qarabagh districts of the province and in a class between security forces and Taliban in Mirzakhail area in Moqor district, 9 Taliban insurgents were killed, as per statement.
