All Educational Institutions Closed in Afghanistan for One Month Due to COVID-19 Pandemic

The Afghan Presidential Palace announced that all governmental and private education institutions are closed in the country for one month.

“Based on the suggestions of the Ministries of Education, Public Health and Higher Education, the institutions closed for one month,” President’s spokesman Sediq Sediqqi said.

This comes as the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country reaches to 11.
