In a meeting with vice president of Indonesia, Salahuddin Rabbani is who is the caretaker of Afghan ministry of foreign affairs asked the Indonesian government for investment in mining sector.
Ministry of foreign affairs told in a report on Saturday that, in a meeting with Indonesian Vice President Mahmoud Yousef Kargar, Salahuddin Rabani appreciated the efforts of the government of Indonesia to bring about peace talks between the Afghan government and Taliban representatives.
Referring to ways of implementing agreements between the two countries especially the five recent agreements, he asked for training and capacity building of miners and investment in the mining sector in Afghanistan.
In this meeting the vice president of Indonesia also said that reconciliation process, the condition after the coming of peace and how the Taliban should be integrated are important issues that should be discussed.
