Nai Calls For Allocating Part of Gov’t’s Emergency Budget to Media

Afghanistan Supporting Open Media-Nai has called for allocating part of government’s emergency budget to media outlets.

Nai in a press release said that the financial status of the Afghan media community has declined in recent years and more than 200 media outlets across the country have stopped working.

It has emphasized that the spread of the coronavirus will accelerate the process of financial decline for the media community and will cause great damage to its body.

This comes as the total number of confirmed cases in Afghanistan reaches to 106.
