A group of 10 Afghan cyclists reached their destination after a one-month journey through the Lapis Lazuli Trade and Transit Route from Herat province in Afghanistan to Turkey via Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.
Their journey began on April 22. The cyclist group is carrying the message of peace to the Lapis Lazuli member countries.
The Lapis Lazuli Corridor was inaugurated by President Ghani last December.
