Blast Kills Seven Civilians in Paktika

At least seven civilians were killed when a roadside bomb exploded in eastern Paktika province on Saturday, officials confirmed.

The spokesman of Paktika Police, Shah Mahmoud Aryan told Reporterly, “The incident took place in Sultan area of Sarozi district when a Saracha type vehicle hits a road-side bomb.”

Aryan noted that that four of those killed in the bombing were members of same family.

According to the official, the bomb had been planted by the Taliban. Taliban have not commented regarding the incident so far.
