Kabul Police Spokesperson Basir Mujahid, told Reporterly that at around 2 PM today, Maulawi Abdul Basir Haqqani, the head of the Ulema council of the PD 7 area of Kabul, was assassinated by a gunman in the PD 7.
Mujahid further emphasized that the police arrested the gunman with his arms right after the assault.
