52 New Coronavirus Cases; Afghanistan COVID-19 Tally Reaches to 607

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) says at least 52 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus were reported in the country during the past 24 hours.

The spokesman of MoPH, Wahidullah Mayar declared that the new cases include 28 in Kabul, 8 in Kandahar, 7 in Herat, 4 in Balkh, 2 in Bamyan, one in Nangarhar, Helmand and Paktia each.

According to Mayar, at least one person was recovered during the past 24 hours and one other died of the coronavirus.

This comes as the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country reaches to 607 patients with 38 recovered and 19 deaths.
