The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) says at least 60 new cases of the coronavirus were recorded in the country during the past 24 hours.
The Minister of Health, Firuzuddin Firuz stated that with the registration of the new cases, the number of people infected with the coronavirus in the country reaches 993.
According to the Health Minister, 31 of the new cases were reported from Kabul.
This comes as the death toll from the coronavirus in the country reaches 32 and the number of recovered patients reaches 131.
