Officials at the Public Health department in Herat province say at least four new cases of the coronavirus were recorded in the province during the past 24 hours.
The spokesman of Herat Public Health Department, Muhammad Rafiq Sherzai said that 48 suspected samples of the coronavirus were tested during the past 24 hours which 4 of them confirmed positive.
According to Sherzai, the new cases include one man and three women.
He added that the number of people infected with the coronavirus in the Herat province reached 328 with 7 deaths and 69 recovered patients.
