NATO’s Resolute Support Mission said on Sunday it was distributing health supplies to 16,000 police officers in Kabul amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The supplies include 18,000 surgical masks, 18,000 gloves, 18,000 disinfectants and sanitizers, protective equipment kits and infrared thermometers, RS said.
It said that the supplies were to assist police efforts to provide security and stop the spread of coronavirus in Kabul.
“NATO Resolute Support stands behind our Afghan partners,” RS said.
