The Ministry of Defense has reported that a total of 30 insurgents were killed as a result of air strikes in Faryab, Herat, Farah, Helmand and Uruzgan provinces.
19 insurgents were killed, 4 others were wounded, and 4 vehicles were destroyed as a result of a air strikes in Dawlatabad and Qaisar provinces of Faryab Province.
In Uruzgan, 5 insurgents have been killed in an air strike in the center of Uruzgan province.
The air strikes and clearing operations in Marjah and Lashkargah districts of Helmand killed 2 insurgents, 7 enemy strongholds were demolished, with 11 mines discovered and defused.
Finally, as a result of air strikes in Shindand district of Herat and Khak-e-Safid district of Farah province, 4 insurgents had been killed, and 3 vehicles were destroyed.
