A statement by the Qatar government confirmed that Qatar’s foreign minister Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman al-Thani had a telephonic conversation with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
The two discussed progress in Afghan peace process and Pompeo thanked Qatar for supporting the peace process.
