An appeal court has sentenced the murderers of Mahsa, a six-year-old girl, to 30 years in prison.
In a hearing held on Sunday in Kabul, the judiciary upheld the verdict of the primary court that was issued on 24 May this year and sentenced Sajad Aqa and Rohoullah to 30 years in prison.
About six months ago, two men kidnapped a little girl named Mahsa and demanded $300,000 ransom for releasing her.
When her family did not provide the ransom, the kidnappers killed the girl.
The dead body of the innocent girl was found in PD15 of Kabul city and the police detained the culprits on 22 February.
