The new members of the Independent Election Commission have been appointed, based on President Ghani’s decree.

The new members are:
Sayed Esmatullah Mal, Mawlana Mohammad Abdullah, Awrang Zeb, Mohammad Hanif Danishyar, Musafir Qoqandi, Hawa Alam Nuristani, and Rahima Zarifi.
