National Directorate of Security has announced that Taliban shadow district governor for Faiz Abad district has been arrested in Jawzjan province.
Mawlavi Obaidullah, under nickname of Hanafi, the shadow district governor of Taliban insurgents for Faiz Abad district of Jawzjan province was arrested, said NDS in a statement on Sunday.
The statement added that the detained individual wanted to go to Sheberghan city to carry out terrorist activities which was identified and arrested by NDS special forces.
