12 Taliban killed, 4 Security Forces Wounded in Daikundi Province 12 Taliban insurgent were killed and four security forces were wounded in Daikundi province after Taliban attacked a security forces outpost, an official said on Monday.
The attack took place in Padgak village of Kijran district on Sunday evening, provincial police spokesman Gul Mohammad Sajjadi told Reporterly adding that those wounded included two policemen and two army soldiers.
Sajjadi said Taliban had retreated and the area is fully under the control of security forces.
